Terms Of Service

CoachRyte is a practice operations platform for cheer gyms. It may include team and athlete records, practice plans, 8 counts, music and formations, scoring references, goals, coach check-ins, practice feedback, and related tools. Features may change as we improve the product. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available in the same form.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your gym’s account, including coaches, admins, and PIN-access devices. Notify us promptly if you believe an account or device has been compromised.

Gyms control who is invited, what roles they have, and what athlete and practice data is entered. You represent that you have all rights and consents needed to upload and process that information in CoachRyte, including information about minors where applicable.

New self-serve subscriptions include a 7-day free trial with full product access. A valid payment method is required at checkout. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, Stripe will charge the selected plan and the paid subscription begins.

Cancel during the trial and you will not be billed. That is not a refund — no charge was made.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual subscription. Annual billing charges 11 months (1 month free). Current published self-serve pricing is $40/month or $440/year for 1–5 Teams; $60/month or $660/year for 6–10 Teams; $80/month or $880/year for 11+ Teams. Pricing is based on how many teams you run. We may change prices for future terms with notice; the rate you already paid for a current period does not change mid-cycle.

Unless you cancel, your subscription renews automatically at the then-current rate for your plan, and your payment method is charged at the start of each billing cycle. Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize CoachRyte and Stripe to charge that method for the subscription and any applicable taxes.

You may cancel at any time from billing settings or by emailing info@coachryte.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (or at the end of the trial, if you cancel during a trial).

After you cancel, you keep access until that period ends. The subscription then stops and you will not be charged for the next cycle. Canceling does not immediately shut off the gym mid-cycle.

All fees are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for unused time, unused teams, downgrades, partial months, accidental purchases, or cancellation before a period ends.

If you cancel after a paid period has started, you will not receive a refund for the remaining days. You simply keep access until the period ends, and no further charges are made.

Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and suspend access until billing is current.

You may use CoachRyte only for lawful gym operations. You may not reverse engineer the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, resell access without our permission, upload malware, or use it to harass others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to the Service or other customers.

You retain ownership of gym data you put into CoachRyte (plans, athlete information, videos, notes, and similar content). You grant CoachRyte a limited license to host, process, back up, and display that content solely to provide and improve the Service.

Scoring rules, product copy, software, and branding are owned by CoachRyte or our licensors. Third-party scoresheet owners retain their rights. We do not claim to be affiliated with USASF.

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal information and cookies. Using the Service also means you agree to those policies.

We aim to keep CoachRyte available, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoachRyte disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

CoachRyte is a coaching operations tool. It is not a substitute for in-person coaching judgment, safety practices, or official competition rulebooks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoachRyte and its owners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You may stop using CoachRyte at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if we discontinue the Service. After termination, we may delete gym data after a reasonable retention period, except where we must keep records for law, billing, or dispute resolution.

We may update these Terms. The “Last Updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material billing changes will be announced in the product or by email when practical.

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and CoachRyte for the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may assign these Terms as part of a sale or reorganization. You may not assign your account without our consent.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CoachRyte maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
